What’s the number one thing potential buyers seek? Samples! As one of many ways we continue to adapt how we facilitate the buyer-brand connection for the natural products community, we have created a contactless sampling program. The Retail Box gives manufacturers like you an opportunity to send your product to 100 top Spark Change retailers specifically interested in your product category.

How it works:

  • 100 top Spark Change retailers specifically interested in your product category will be sent your product sample.
    • Top buyers are selected by the Natural Products Expo Virtual team.
  • These buyers are able to select their product categories of interest, ensuring your product is going to the best participants.
  • Product categories include:
    • Frozen & Refrigerated
    • Shelf-Stable Food & Beverage
    • Health & Beauty/Lifestyle/Other
  • To guide the retailers through the contactless sampling experience, participants will receive their curated sample box, along with:
    • Product guide created by New Hope Network, including your company name and logo, product name, product description and contact information.
    • A company-provided digital sell sheet (max size 8.5″x11″) that New Hope Network will print and include in the sample boxes.
  • Retailer participants are encouraged to give product feedback and visit your Virtual Booth to engage further with your brand. 
  • You’ll receive a list of the retailers that received your product samples.

Details:

  • This opportunity is priced for one SKU. 
  • 120 total items will be required to fulfill this program (20% overage required by our distribution partner).
  • Custom boxes or multiple product packs will not be accepted.
  • Recognition begins once contract is received.
  • Non-exclusive marketing opportunity.

Availability:

  • Spark Change – Sustainable Solutions: November 10, 2021
    • Sales Deadline: October 1, 2021
    • Boxes arrive to retail participants: November 4, 2021

*Pricing depends on required method of shipping, size and weight of product:

  • Shelf-stable products:
    • Shipped weight up to 9 oz. or max dimensions of 8″ x 6″ x 3″: $2,750
    • Shipped weight up to 12 oz. or max dimensions of 12″ x 8″ x 4″: $3,250
    • Shipped weight over 12 oz. or larger than 12″ x 8″ x 4″: $4,250
  • Frozen – any weight or size: $5,500
  • Refrigerated – any weight or size: $5,500
